I was born in New Orleans and have lived here all my life. I attended Salmen High School In Slidell La. I graduated in 1981. I have a son Christopher he was born August 17, 1987, & a daughter Katie she was born April 20, 1994. I don't know what I did before I had children.
I was on the board of the playground where my children play sports until 2010. I coach the girls track team from 2000 till 2009. I was the director of the cheerleaders from 2003 - 2010. I have been working on a fund raiser for the March Of Dimes for the last few years. I am now fund raising for Cabrini High School where my daughter goes to school. I like to give back to my community.
I started in child care in 1987. I didn't want to put Christopher in child care so I took care of children in my home. I did this until he went to school. Then I went back to work. In 1999 I open a In Home Child Care Center. I love to be with children. In July 2004 I bought a building to open a class A child care center. I sold my 4 bed room home and moved above my child care center. I remodel the building with all the money I had. I was license for 49 children February 2005. I was just getting on my feet when the storm came and closed me down for 30 days. I worked so hard to reopen after the storm. I reopen the doors with my 18 year old son and I, until I could find employees. I have great employees that I got after the storm.
